outpost of the maverick billionaires. Los Gatos is adamant about being
called a towns. Los Gatos is very moneyed, and the money tends to be
"old" money, which is to say from before 1989. The streets
of Los Gatos are lined with Italian and British cars. Homes here are
rivaled only by the sumptuous residences of Los Altos Hills. The downtown
areas are crammed with exclusive boutiques, galleries, and upscale watering
